Educating Educators about ABI The primary focus of the project is the development and dissemination to teachers of practical information on Acquired Brain Injury along with useful strategies for the classroom. These materials are being formatted into a curriculum module for pre-service training in the faculties of education. |

It gives young carers the opportunity to access information, share caring ideas and stories; talk to other young carers; and keep up to date on current news and events. Young carers can sign up as a member and have access to facilities such as the Forums.Additionally this website has sections for families, schools and professionals. These sections provide the opportunity to access information, share support ideas, feature your service or school, access resources and keep up to date with news and events around the country, relating to young carers. |

HemiHelp Hemiplegia is a neurological condition that weakens one side of the body, and affects one child in a thousand. It is sometimes described as a form of cerebral palsy, and the effects are similar to those of a stroke. HemiHelp is a membership organisation offering information and support to children and their families affected by hemiplegia. |

Friends of Brain Injured Children ACT Inc An organisation based in the Australian Capital Territory that encourage the use of a wide range of early intensive therapies, and provides families of children with brain injury with support, information and financial assistance for therapy. |
