Melbourne and its surrounding area is on land which
is part of the traditional land of the Kulin Nations.
The Kulin are a federation of five distinct communities-
the Wurundjeri, Boonerwrung, Taungurong, Kurung and
the Wathaurong.
When visiting this land, it is a courtesy to pay your
respects to the traditional owners of the land. We would
be grateful if, at the beginning of your presentation
you make a brief statement ‘to acknowledge the
traditional owners of this land’.
