On behalf of leading acquired brain injury (ABI) organisations, arbias and Brain Injury Australia, we invite you to attend an exciting and informative three day event.

INSIGHTS and SOLUTIONS

The combined 2nd International Conference on Alcohol and Other Drug Related Brain Injury and the Brain Injury Australia National Conference 2008, to be held in Melbourne, Australia, recognises the need for innovative approaches and improved practice in the field of ABI. This will feature throughout the conference program.

The overarching theme, INSIGHTS and SOLUTIONS, will provide a focal point for exploring all facets of ABI and presents an opportunity for people with ABI, their families and carers, clinicians, professional workers, researchers and policy makers to:
- access cutting edge national and international research
- drive education and prevention campaigns
- build stronger treatment and support networks

The dawning of September in Melbourne has the city buzzing with anticipation and enthusiasm. The city is awash with team colours as the Australian Football League finals are gearing up and the longer, brighter days have people turning their attentions to spring fashion.

Over the coming months, more information on the combined conference will be available via this website so we encourage you to visit it regularly. Alternatively, if you would like conference updates emailed to you then please contact the conference manager, the Australian Drug Foundation.

Thank you and we hope you will join us at this exciting conference.
